Living at Punta Mona
Our community is the heart of Punta Mona. We are a beautiful, ever changing kaleidoscope of people from all over the world that have come together to care for the land and each other. Though we live in a jungle paradise, learn a lot, and play with incredible plants from all over the world; it’s the amazing personal connections that are the highlight of most people’s experience here. We’re all looking for new ways to live in the world, and we’re excited to share what we’re doing here and how the principles of permaculture can create harmony and resilience in the land, our selves, and our communities. Thanks for all the love, patience, and enthusiasm all of you have shown towards Punta Mona. We’re really excited about what’s on the horizon.

We likely won’t be taking applications to join the community until we’re able to resume courses, but if you’d like to receive an email with updates as they’re announced, please email me at David@puntamona.org. Please include any relevant information such as your location, interests, and experience that you may want taken into consideration.
For those excited to join us in the meantime, check out our soft-reopening. It’s a fresh new way to experience life here and explore our beautiful jungle playground.
Punta Mona Immersion Program
Upon our full reopening, we plan to launch a new program that gives people a full taste of the community. This is a great way for people new to this lifestyle to dive in and experience what else is possible. You’ll get introductions and hands on experience in permaculture, herbalism, mycology, community living, and more while also getting opportunities to explore the incredible nature of this region.
The Immersion Program has its own curriculum packed full of educational and connective experiences that are designed to build your skills, give you hands on experience, and open your mind, body, and heart. This program will focus as much on experiential learning and practical skills, as it does on the transformation experience of being immersed in the jungle with a loving, supportive, and passionate community. This focus will be supported with regular yoga classes, connective discussions, music, physical and emotional support systems, and sharing circles as well as classes exploring meditation, cultivating magic, dance, music, Cacao, and much more. Stay tuned for the full schedule when we begin to resume our coursework.
