School Groups
The Punta Mona Center for Sustainability and Education creates experiences through which teachers and students can personally connect with the natural wonders of the Earth, as well as with some of the problems facing the rainforests. In addition, guests are introduced to solutions created to preserve and sustainably develop tropical rainforest land. Student travelers enjoy the benefit of over ten years of connections with the people and the land of Costa Rica. We are dedicated to help grow a new generation of eco-conscious world citizens. We try to exemplify this in the support, honor and friendship we offer to our local Punta Mona family. Accommodations: We can accept groups of up to 40 students for visits from 1 day up to several weeks
Activities: hiking, kayaking, organic farming, swimming, dolphin tours, turtle nesting (in season), snorkeling, bird watching, permaculture instruction, yoga, arts and crafts, chocolate making
